我國5年內完成歷史文化街區和歷史建築確定工作

All cities in China are expected to have finished the identification of historic districts and buildings within five years to better protect these sites of interest, according to an official with the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

日前，中國住房與城鄉建設部一名官員透露，我國所有城市將於5年內完成歷史文化街區和歷史建築確定工作，以更好地保護這些古蹟。

Fu Shuang, director of the ministry's historic and cultural city protection division, made the remarks at a forum in east China's Jiangsu Province.

住建部歷史文化名城保護處處長傅爽是在中國東部江蘇省的一個論壇上發表的上述言論。

Historic cities, towns and villages illustrate developments in China's history showing advances in society, culture and technology, said Fu.

傅爽表示，歷史文化名城名鎮名村是我國社會、文化和科技發展的歷史見證。

City governments must identify districts that feature historic sites and define them as such, Fu said at the ninth historic town protection forum.

傅爽在第九屆歷史城鎮保護論壇上指出，城市政府需將本地區內歷史建築集中成片的區域覈定公佈爲歷史文化街區。

China has 252 towns and 276 villages listed as famous historic and cultural localities under special state protection.

目前我國全國共有國家重點保護歷史文化名鎮252個、歷史文化名村276個。
