職場英語日記 第46期:勞拉意外來訪

Great news! Last night I got an email from my friend Laura, who has been traveling in Australia for the last 6 months. She is flying home and has arranged a stopover here so we can hang out for a couple of days before she heads home.

天大的好消息!昨晚我收到好友勞拉的電子郵件，她去澳大利亞旅行半年了，現在要飛回家。她計劃在這裏中途停留，和我敘舊幾天再走。

I am so excited! i'm working through my lunch break so that I can leave the office early to pick her up at the airport. Her flight arrives at 5 pm,so if I leave at 4 pm and there is not too much traffic, I should make it there right on time.

我好興奮哦!午休時間我沒休息繼續工作，這樣就能早點下班去機場接她。她的班機5點到，如果我4點離開又不塞車的話，應該可以準時到。

This is going to be so fun! Laura is the funnuest person I know. She makes me laugh so hard. She's bound to have some hilarious stories about her crazy adventures Down Under and I can hardly wait to hear them.

和勞拉見面一定會很好玩，她是我認識的最有趣的人，每次都讓我笑到合不攏嘴。這次瘋狂的澳洲冒險一定有很多樂子，我等不及要一飽耳福了。

I can't believe she spent 6 months traveling by herself, backpacking across the country. She's so brave. I'm not sure I would have the courage to just take off and go to a completely different country on my own.

真不敢相信她竟能揹着揹包風塵僕僕，獨自在那個國家到處旅行了半年，真的好勇敢。要我鼓起勇氣衝上飛機，一個人跑到一個完全陌生的國度，可真是一點把握也沒有。

Knowing Laura,she probably met lots of people and made friends wherever she went. She's just one of those people taht you can't help but love.

我瞭解勞拉，不管到哪裏她大概都能認識很多人、交很多好朋友。她就是那種你很難不去喜歡的人。
