職場英語日記 第34期:和西恩第一次約會

Sean is coming to pick me up and take me on a date tonight. I have decided to go with my friends' advice and give him a chance, even though I think he is just not my type. If he talks about himself the whole evening again, that's it--I won't go out with him again.

西恩今晚要來接我出去約會。雖然他不是我喜歡的類型，但我還是決定聽朋友的建議給他機會。如果他又整晚只談自己，那就到此爲止，我不會再和他出去了。

Maybe I am being harsh, but I don't care. I don't want to waste my time with a guy who is not interested in getting to know me at all. I am trying to be enthusuastic about it, but I'm not.

或許這樣有點惡劣，但是管他呢。我纔不想浪費時間和一個一點都不想多瞭解我的傢伙在一起。我努力想燃起約會的熱情，但就是做不到。

I know that I don't have a very good attiude about Sean and that's not a goog start. He just donesn't fit the profile of the king of guy I want to date.

我知道自己對西恩的態度不是很好，讓兩人的關係沒有一個好的開始，但他就是不符合我想約會的男人形象。

I want a guy who is fun, with lots of energy and a charming personality. I like people who are artistic or creative.

我喜歡那種風趣、精力充沛、個性迷人的男人，最好帶點藝術氣息或富有創意。

I don't care about material things all that much. Sean just doedn't seen very deep, you know?

我覺得物質條件反倒沒那麼重要。你們知道嗎?西恩一起來就不是很有深度。
