1. Mobile phones make it possible for us to talk to... 移動電話使得我們與……交談成爲可能。

句型：make it + adj./n.+ to do... 使得……

例如： These strict rules in our company make them difficult to follow.
我們公司特嚴的規章制度讓我們很難遵從。

聯想：make 表“使”的意義時常見的其他複合結構形式有：

（1）make+sb+do sth

例：You may take a horse to the water, but you can't make him drink.
可以牽馬到河邊，卻不能逼它喝水。

（2）make+sb/sth+n./adj.

例：That will only make matters worse.

(1)表示比較
