中國內地企業女性高管佔三成 高於全球平均比例

Women now hold about 30 percent of the top positions in Chinese mainland businesses, compared with 25 percent last year, according to the annual International Business Report released on Monday by global accountancy firm Grant Thornton.

根據致同國際會計師事務所週一發佈的年度《國際商業調查報告》顯示，中國內地企業高管中女性的佔比由去年的25%上升至約30%。

The report ranked China ninth among 36 major economies surveyed. Globally, only 24 percent of senior business jobs are held by women.

這一數據在受調查的36個主要經濟體中位居第9。在全球企業高管層中，女性所佔比例僅爲24%。

Of the hundreds of mainland businesses surveyed this year, about 16 percent do not have women in top positions, compared with 25 percent last year. Globally, 33 percent of the businesses surveyed do not have female top managers.

同時，在中國內地今年受調查的幾百個企業當中，沒有女性高管的企業比例也從去年的25%下降到今年的16%。放到全球來看，在接受調查的企業中，沒有女性高管的平均比例達到33%。

As for the motivation to take on leading positions, more than 43 percent of female respondents said they wanted to promote business strategy and usher in changes in their companies. More than 46 percent of male respondents attributed their motivation to higher salary.

至於擔任企業高管的動因，超過43%的受訪女高管表示她們希望推動企業戰略發展、讓企業發生轉變。超過46%的男性高管表示，最大驅動力則是更高的收入。

"Female leaders seem to be more dedicated to driving their companies toward achieving goals, and appear to be more committed to their jobs," said Xu Hua, CEO of Grant Thornton China.

致同國際會計師事務所的首席執行官徐華表示：“女性領導似乎更致力於推動他們的公司向上發展來實現企業目標，似乎也更致力於自己的工作。”

Additionally, the survey found that women tend to focus more on cooperation, while men focus on assigning tasks.

此外，該調查還發現，女性更看重合作能力，而男性則更看重分配任務的能力。

About 26 percent of female leaders surveyed said they believed that having a positive attitude is essential, while 14 percent of male leaders thought so. More than 20 percent of the male respondents said they thought the ability to delegate tasks is important, compared with 3.7 percent of women.

26%的女性高管表示，她們對積極態度更爲看重，而男性高管同意此觀點的比例僅爲14%。超過20%的男性高管認爲分配任務的能力是非常重要的，而持此觀點的女性高管僅有3.7%。
