翻譯練習:"覺得"不一定是feel

今天我們一起看一看魯迅先生的《螃蟹》，把螃蟹要脫殼的急急忙忙的樣子描寫的很到位呢~讓小編我不禁想到了熱鍋上的螞蟻之類的~

原文：老螃蟹覺得不安了，覺得全身太硬了，自己知道要脫殼了。

翻譯：An old crab grew restless. Finding himself stiff all over, he knew it was time for him to moult his shell.

1、“覺得”的譯法
一看到“覺得”，最直接的反應就是feel，其實某些情況下，有比feel更好的詞。這裏用grow表示“逐漸產生某種感覺”或“逐漸開始改變看法”。老螃蟹覺得不安不是突然發生的情況，是一個漸變的過程，用grow更合適。
EG：
After a while the kids grew to like Mr. Cox. 過了一會兒，孩子們開始喜歡上了考克斯先生。
the city he had grown to love 他漸漸開始喜歡的城市
Friendship grew between the two men. 這兩人之間產生了友情。

總結：grow更強調感受的變化過程，而feel用法比較廣泛。

另外，給出一些“覺得”的譯法
舉得渾身是勁 feel full of energy
覺得身體不舒服 not feel like oneself; feel a little under the weather
大家都覺得他會來。 Everyone thought he would show up.
我覺得不會有問題。 My feeling is that there would be no problem.
我覺得他挺討人喜歡的。 In my opinion, he is a pleasant guy.

2、“脫殼”譯爲to moult his shell，其中to moult爲專用語，意同to cast off。
moult既有“脫毛、蛻皮”的意思；也有“去除舊思想、就習慣”的意思
EG：moult one’s old notions 去掉舊觀念
Mature Christmas Island red crabs probably moult only once a year, as their growth rate slows.
成年聖誕島紅蟹或許一年只蛻一次殼，因爲它們生長緩慢。

原文：他跑來跑去的尋。他想尋一個窟穴，躲了身子，將石子堵了穴口，隱隱的蛻殼。
翻譯：He dashed here and there in search of a cave to hide. He was going to block up the mouth of the cave so that he could moult in secret.

跑來跑去的尋
這句的“跑”沒有用一般意義的run，而用了一個詞dash。這個詞含有“猛衝、急馳、飛奔”的意思，表現了老螃蟹在即將蛻殼之際找不到適合場所的“慌亂緊張，甚至六神無主”的狀態，更形象。
