這句話有許多意思相近的說法，都表示驚奇，好比This is unbelievable!（真是不敢相信！）但這句話也可以用作負面的意思，表現出意外多於驚喜的感覺。若要表現驚喜，可以說This is wonderful!（真是太棒了！）。
