My favorite city is Shanghai, which is a very medern and beautiful city. Shanghai is located in the east of China and it is the biggest city in China. I have been to Shanghai for many times and it has left a deep impression in my mind.I enjoyed the view from the top of the Jing Mao Building and I was attracted by the traditionAl temple mixed with modern skyscapers. You see, Shanghai is a city of both tradition and development. I really like it.

There are many beautiful places such as the oriental pearl TV tower, Huangpu River and so on. Of these places of interest, the oriental pearl TV tower is so attractive that none has left Shanghai without visiting it . It is so tall that all the visitors have to go upstairs by elevators. The view from the top of the tower is very grand especially at night . Besides this ,enjoying the beautiful view on a ship by the Huangpu River is very exciting . The beautiful lights from the tall buildings along the river make the river a so beautiful place. During the river tour we can also see the outer part of the oriental pearl TV tower. Also there is much delicous food, such as Nanxiang small steamed bun ,pan-fried steamed bun and so on. Thedelicious food make many visitors mouth water . All in all ,Shanghai is a place worth visiting many times.

The shopping in Shanghai is cheaper than here, but it’s expensive in China. I have a lot of things to do there, like: shopping, playing, going to my friend’s home… And there’re also a lot of places that are interesting. In Shanghai, people speak the same language as I do. I was there for 13 years! I left there on August, 18th, 2005. And I was there because I was born in there and I lived there.
上海是我最喜歡的城市，我喜歡它因爲我在那裏出生。而且我有很多的家人和朋友都住在那裏。在上海購物要比這裏便宜,但是在中國就昂貴了。我有很多事情要做，比如:購物，玩，去我的朋友家裏…而且還有很多有趣的地方。在上海,人們和我說的是同樣的語言。我在那裏呆了13年了!我,2005年8月18號離開了那裏。我在那裏，是因爲我在那裏出生，我住在那裏。
There’re a lot of people in Shanghai. The people are like me. We all speak the same language. The people in Shanghai are busy and friendly. And Shanghai is also and international city. It’s beautiful and fancy. There’re a lot of tall buildings. That’s why Shanghai is my favorite city. It’s my home city. I love Shanghai!!!

I’d like to go back to Shanghai, but just for a visit. Although Shanghai is good, I’d like to live here because I’d like to study here. I only get a little homework and the air here is flasher than Shanghai. The weather is hot in Shanghai. And the best time of year to go there is spring, because in spring, the weather is cool and warm. But some people asked me:” Why don’t we go there in the fall? The fall is also cool and warm.” I don’t think so, because in Shanghai, the fall is still very hot. I’d like to recommend this place to other because I want more and more people to know and visit my hometown. I hope if I ask my friends:” Have you ever been to Shanghai? Do you like Shanghai?” The answers shouldn’t be:” No, I haven’t been to Shanghai. And I don’t even know anything about Shanghai!” Now, I’ll recommend you to go to visit Shanghai in summer vacation or winter vacation or spring break or every time you’d like, you’d want, because Shanghai is a very nice city. If you go there, you’ll soon like it!
我想回到上海，但只是去拜訪。雖然上海很好，但是我想住在這裏，是因爲我想在這裏學習。我作業很少，這裏的空氣比上海的好。上海的天氣很熱。一年之中最好去上海季節是春天，因爲在春天那裏的天氣是涼爽和溫暖的。但有些人問我:“爲什麼我們不在秋天去那裏?秋天也是涼爽和溫暖的”。我不這麼認爲，因爲在上海,秋天仍然很熱。我想推薦這個地方給其他人，是因爲我希望越來越多的人瞭解和訪問我的家鄉。我希望如果我問我的朋友們：“你去過上海嗎?你喜歡上海嗎?“答案不會是：“不,我沒有去過上海。我甚至對上海一無所知!“現在，我將推薦你在暑假或者寒假或春假或者是隨時你想去的時候去上海，因爲上海是一個非常美麗的城市。如果你去那裏，你很快就會喜歡它!
