外媒:貴陽超越上海成中國最佳表現城市

Guiyang, the capital of China's poor-but-fast-growing Guizhou, edged out financial capital Shanghai as the nation's top performer, a ranking by the California-based think tank Milken Institute shows.

總部位於加利福尼亞州的智庫米爾肯研究所近日發佈的一份排名顯示，貧困卻發展迅速的中國貴州省的省會城市貴陽領先於金融之都上海，成爲表現最佳的中國城市。

Despite its location in the less-developed southwest, the city has benefited from the central government's effort to bridge the gap between the coastal and inland regions.

儘管地處欠發達的西南地區，貴陽已從中央政府縮小沿海與內陸地區差距的努力中受益。

In particular, the Belt and Road Initiative helps Guiyang receive more investment, stimulating growth, the report said.

報告指出，尤其是“一帶一路”倡議幫助貴陽獲得了更多投資，刺激了增長。

Tianjin came in third, followed by Shenzhen which moved up six places to land in fourth and last year's top city, Chengdu.

天津位居第3；深圳緊隨其後，排名上升6位至第4；去年的榜首城市成都位列第5。

Dalian, Nanchang, Chongqing, Xi'an, and Haikou rounded out the top 10.

大連、南昌、重慶、西安、海口分列第6至10位。

"The government's plans, as well as geography, favor the region," Perry Wong, managing director of research at Milken, said in a Bloomberg Television interview in Beijing.

The ranking incorporates growth in economic output, jobs and wages over, as well as per-capita growth, foreign direct investment growth and the proximity of high value-added industry employment, according to the institute.

該機構表示，這項排名是根據經濟產量、就業情況、工資水平的增長以及人均收入、外商直接投資的增長和高附加值產業就業情況得出的。
