A brother and sister in the US have swapped genders after they told their parents that they have gender identity disorders just a month apart.

At just three years old, Aly was a tomboy who enjoyed playing football while older sibling Russie, then 5, preferred playing dress up with the girls.

Their parents always knew their children were a little different.

Then Aly and Russie decided to go ahead with gender reassignment surgery after receiving counseling.

Aly, now 17, is known as Gavin. Russie, now 20, is known as Rai.
