in stanza 1, the speaker urges an unnamed person to go about his own business and stop interfering with his love.

愛情是一個永恆的主題，歷來久誦不衰。“生命誠可貴，愛情價更高”。詩人開篇立題“讓我們愛”，不在乎別人的風言風語，我們依然要愛。詩人以自己的健康受到別人的非議爲引言，“你可以指責我中風兼痛風”，說明別人可以指責我的健康，但不能阻礙我的愛情。弦外之音就是：別人連我的健康狀況都無權過問，更不用說阻攔我的愛情了。下面幾句是祝福他人，也就是說自己得到了愛情，就不能得到以下的祝福。愛情與名利不能兼得，作者舍名利、取愛情，可見其對愛的執着。
