“漢字”英語怎麼說

名詞解釋：漢字，是用於書寫漢語普通話及方言的文字[1] ，也可被借用於書寫日語、朝鮮語/韓語等語言。是中國的唯一官方文字，也是新加坡的官方文字之一，目前確切歷史可以追溯到商朝的的甲骨文。你知道怎麼用英語表達嗎?

文中的Chinese characters就是“漢字”的意思。character專門指如漢字等的“方塊字”或“字符”。我們來複習一下其他幾個跟“字”相關的單詞。word通常是指單詞，如一篇作文要寫200個詞，即200 words;alphabet不能用來指單個字，它是指某種語言的字母表，如英語字母表，即English alphabet，而英語的alphabet中有26個字母，即26 letters——letter就是字母的意思。

此外，還有wording或diction，意思是“措辭”，font是指“字型、字體”，而calligraphy意思是“書法”。稱讚某人寫得一手好字，可以說他writes a good hand或has good handwriting;handwriting義爲“書法、書寫”，是不可數名詞。
