我們有錢買這些東西嗎？Well, the boss said to plan a great party so…
老闆說要舉辦大型聚會，所以...They said that. But after they find out how much the party is going to cost, they will be singing a different tune.
他們是這麼說的。不過當他們發現聚會開銷多少後，肯定會改變主意的。This expression has nothing to do with singing.
這個表達與唱歌無關。In many dictionaries, the official definition of "to sing a different tune" is "to change the way one talks about something."
