我國二十四節氣入選世界非遺名錄大綱

The 11th session of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization's Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritages opened in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia's capital last Monday.

上週一，聯合國教科文組織保護非物質文化遺產政府間委員會第11屆常會在埃塞俄比亞首都亞的斯亞貝巴開幕。

During the meeting, China's "24 solar terms" will apply to be added onto the world's intangible cultural heritage list.

在本屆常會上，中國的"二十四節氣"將申報世界非物質文化遺產名錄。

The "24 solar terms" is a knowledge system and social practice formed through observation of the sun's annual motion, and recognition of the entire year's changes of season, climate and phenology.

"二十四節氣"是中國人通過觀察太陽週年運動，認知一年中時令、氣候、物候等方面的變化規律所形成的知識體系和社會實踐。

The 24 terms include Start of Spring, Rain Water, Awakening of Insects, Spring Equinox, Clear and Bright, Grain Rain, Start of Summer, Grain Buds, Grain in Ear, Summer Solstice, Minor Heat, Major Heat, Start of Autumn, End of Heat, White Dew, Autumn Equinox, Cold Dew, Frost's Descent, Start of Winter, Minor Snow, Major Snow, Winter Solstice, Minor Cold and Major Cold.

這"二十四節氣"包括：立春、雨水、驚蟄、春分、清明、穀雨、立夏、小滿、芒種、夏至、小暑、大暑、立秋、處暑、白露、秋分、寒露、霜降、立冬、小雪、大雪、冬至、小寒、大寒。

It is among the 37 requests proposed for the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, and the requests will be examined during the meeting, along with five nominations for inscription on the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding. The meeting will end on Dec 2.

包括"二十四節氣"在內，共有37個項目申報人類非物質文化遺產代表作名錄。本屆常會將對這37個項目以及5個被提名列入急需保護的非物質文化遺產名錄的項目進行評審。此次會議將於12月2日結束。

The Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritages in its 10 years of service has inscribed 336 elements onto the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

保護非物質文化遺產政府間委員會在其服務的10年時間內，共將336個項目列入了人類非物質文化遺產名錄。
