印度最新航空公司獲批飛行

India's newest airline said Tuesday that ithas received an air permit to begin flying in the country.

印度最新的航空公司稱已經獲得許可可在印度開展業務了。

Vistara, jointly owned by Singapore Airlines and the Mumbai-based Tataconglomerate, said it would soon make an announcement on the start of sales,routes and schedules.

Vistara由新加坡航空公司和孟買的塔塔集團合資建成，稱很快將發佈銷售，路線和航班等信息。

"Vistara has received the Air OperatorPermit (AOP) from the regulatory authority," airline spokeswoman BhaktiArora said in an email.

“Vistara已經從監管當局那裏獲得了空中運行許可，”該航空公司發言人說。

Vistara, whose name means "limit lessexpanse" in Sanskrit, will be headquartered in New Delhi. The airline hadearlier said it hoped to start flying passengers in October this year.

Singapore Airlines holds a 49 percent stakein the venture, while Tata's is 51 percent -- an arrangement allowed after India's previous government said foreign airlines could buy up to 49 percents takes in Indian carriers.

India's air passenger market has rapidly expanded, but many companies are struggling with debts and cut-throat farewars, high fuel costs and poor infrastructure.
