軍事戰略白皮書首發布

China issued its first white paper on military strategy on Tuesday.

26日，中國發布首份闡述軍事戰略的白皮書，

It reaffirmed China's adherence to peaceful development and its "active defense" military strategy.

重申將堅持走和平發展的道路，並採取積極防禦的戰略思想。

"China will never seek hegemony or expansion," it said.

白皮書稱："中國永遠不爭霸，不稱霸，絕不搞戰略擴張。"

For the first time, the paper noted that "some offshore neighbors take provocative actions and reinforce their military presence on China's reefs and islands that they have illegally occupied", and it is thus a long-standing task for China to safeguard its maritime rights and interests.

白皮書首次指出："個別海上鄰國採取挑釁性舉動，在非法'佔據'的中方島礁上加強軍事存在。" 因此，維護中國的海洋權益將是一項長期任務。

The paper said the navy of the People's Liberation Army will "gradually shift its focus from 'offshore waters defense' to a combination of 'offshore waters defense' and 'open seas protection'".

白皮書稱，中國海軍將逐步實現由近海防禦型向近海防禦與遠海護衛型結合的轉變。

The paper also mentioned space, cyber space and other key secuirty areas.

白皮書內容還涉及太空、網絡空間等重大安全領域。
