特朗普威脅派軍隊止暴

US President Donald Trump called himself the "president of law and order" in a Rose Garden address as military police were firing tear gas into peaceful protesters near the White House on Monday evening. Trump announced that he is taking immediate action to "stop the violence and restore security and safety in America".

美國總統特朗普6月1日晚在白宮玫瑰園發表講話，自稱是“法律和秩序的總統”，還宣佈他將立即採取行動“制止暴力，恢復美國的安全與保障”。就在特朗普發表講話的同時，警方向白宮附近的和平抗議者發射了催淚彈。

"I am mobilizing all available federal resources, civilian or military, to stop the rioting and looting, to end the destruction and arson, and protect the rights of law-abiding Americans," the president said.

特朗普說：“我正在動員所有可用的聯邦資源，包括民事和軍事資源，以停止騷亂和搶劫，以結束破壞和縱火，並保護守法的美國人的權利。”

Trump said that he has "strongly recommended to every governor to deploy the National Guard in sufficient numbers so that we dominate the streets".

The president said that if cities or states refuse his directives, "I will deploy the US military and quickly solve the problem for them."
