1. 解詞釋義

Gag一詞做爲俚語，其意思爲“笑話和滑稽故事”，相當於“joke or sunny story”。例如： Jane was telling a few rather feeble gags this afternoon. （Jane在今天下午說了幾個沒什麼生趣的笑話。）對話中“What is the gag?”是美國人常用的俚語，意思是詢問對方做成功某事的奧妙或者是詭計，計謀，也可以說爲“What is the trick?”
