中國歡迎緬甸總統到訪

China gave a warm welcome Friday to Burma's president on his first official trip since his country installed a nominally civilian government.

President The in Sein is due to meet with Chinese President Hu Jintao Friday. The two are expected to sign agreements on technical and economic cooperation.

Thein Sein arrived in Beijing Thursday for a three-day visit expected to deal with sensitive trade and security issues. He will also meet with Premier Wen Jiabao.

China's official Xinhua news agency said Thein Sein is accompanied on the trip by a dozen cabinet ministers and senior military officers.中國星期五給予緬甸總統登盛熱烈歡迎。自從緬甸名義上的文官政府就職以來，這是登盛的首次正式出訪。登盛總統定於星期五會見中國國家主席胡錦濤。預計兩人將簽訂有關技術和經濟合作的協定。
