主謂一致：不確定數量的名詞作主語

1. Some of +名詞

  當主語是“all of/ some of/ none of/ half of/ Most of +名詞”時，謂語由名詞決定。

  Most of the money is given by my mother. 大部分錢是媽媽給的。

  Most of the students in this class are boys. 這個班大多數學生是男孩。

2. Plenty of +名詞

 當主語是“lots of/ plenty of/ loads of +名詞”時，謂語由名詞決定。

 Lots of food here is delicious. 這兒很多事物都很好吃。

 Lots of people here like dancing. 這兒很多人都喜歡跳舞。

3. A portion of +名詞

 當主語是“a portion of/ a series of / a pile of +名詞”時，謂語用單數。

  A large portion of the students is from China. 這兒學生中很大一部分都來自中國。

  A large portion of the report is missing. 這份報告很大一部分都丟失了。

4. A kind of +名詞

  當主語是“a kind of/ a type of / a sort of +名詞”，由於名詞只能是可數名詞單數和不可數名詞，所以謂語爲單數。

  There is a kind of rose on the table, which is very expensive.

  桌上放着一種玫瑰，價格昂貴。

5. Many a +名詞

  當主語是“many a+名詞”和“more than one+名詞”，謂語用單數。

  Many a girl has toys. 很多女孩都有玩具。

  There is more than one map on the wall. 牆上有很多地圖。

因此，當主語是表示不確定數量的名詞時，謂語動詞到底是單還是復，可依據以上規則，一一對號入座。
