Managing upwards,

A、B的詞後面都接of,account to 是解釋的意思,用在這裏意思不對。

“ he or she may have taught you almost everything you know”,也就是說TA會對你的工作進行很多指導,因爲有taught,所以不是supporter或者helper,選leader又感覺拉遠了距離,因此選adviser。

We specialize in this line of business我們專門經營此項服務;

Does this item come under your line of business?

You meet some very interesting people in my line of business

see off,送行;keep off,遠離;take off,起飛。

30題,the most successful way to (30) your working life,意思上應該填入表示經營、管理等的意思,run有這個意思。

《The Myth of the Paperless Office》,

paper, having already survived five thousand years of technological change, and has proved remarkably resilient.

《Business Meeting》,

Order:A sequence or arrangement of successive things.

20題,there is no point in doing sth.

選dealt with。

選result in,導致。

I was absent minded and lose concentration very easily.

restrict to限制

重點在於理解詞組at a time的含義:separately in the specified groups or numbers。 He took the stairs two at a time.

27題,這裏考察的是note一個不太常見的用法:to give your attention to something by discussing it or making a written record of it。

Can't you keep quiet for a minute and let me have my say? / The judge usually has the final say.

have a say in: To have the right to express one's opinion or cast a vote in a pending matter.

e.g.: Our boss is friendly and democratic; he always encourages us to have a say in what we will do next.

in contrast對比,in case萬一。

in the habit of有什麼習慣。
