名詞解釋：性別歧視指在關於性別上存在的偏見，指一種性別成員對另一種性別成員的不平等對待。尤其是男性對女性的不平等對待。兩性之間的不平等，造成社會的性別歧視。但也可用來指稱任何因爲性別所造成的差別待遇。你知道怎麼用英語表達嗎?

As the Ellen Pao sex discrimination trial continues to captivate Silicon Valley, the law firm representing Ms. Pao has filed a bias case on behalf of another woman against an even bigger target: Facebook.

Chia Hong, who worked for Facebook from 2010 to 2013, said that she faced discrimination, harassment and retaliation — and was eventually fired — because she is a woman and of Taiwanese descent, according to a lawsuit filed in state court in San Mateo County, where the company is based.

In response to Ms. Hong's suit, Facebook said in a statement: "We work extremely hard on issues related to diversity, gender and equality, and we believe we've made progress."

就在鮑康如(Ellen Pao)性別歧視案持續在硅谷引發熱議的同時，代表她的律師事務所又爲另一名女性提交了歧視訴訟狀，這次針對的公司規模更大：Facebook。

在Facebook總部所在地聖馬特奧市的州法院提交的一份訴訟資料顯示，洪嘉(音譯)2010年至2013年供職於Facebook，她說由於自己是女性，而且有臺灣血統，在該公司受到歧視、騷擾和報復，並最終遭到解僱。

對於洪嘉的訴訟，Facebook發表聲明說：“我們在多元化、性別和平等問題上付出了極大的努力，我們相信已經在這些方面取得了進展。”
