第二、地道表達：

put words into someone’s mouth

1. 解詞釋義

改習語是貶義詞，是指未經證實說某人有某種看法，爲徵求別人意見而帶人表達，未經同意帶某人說話。

2. 支持範例

I never mentioned going away for a holiday and don’t put words into my mouth.

我從來沒有提到過去度假，別把這話強加於我！

When he said John here was a favor of the idea and I told him not to put words into my mouth.
