A: I have never you mention this friend. Are you on very good terms with him or her?

B: We have been on good terms. She is a very nice girl. But she got in Dutch with her boss. I don’t have the heart to see her pounding the pavements.

【核心短語】be stuck on someone

【解詞釋義】stuck是stick的過去分詞，意思是“粘在一起”。Be stuck on someone和be in love with someone的意思是一樣的，均指“迷戀上某人”。
