color一次賦予語言很大的生命力和感染力。不僅其他語言中的語言詞條與顏色有關，很多形象多彩的英語習語也來自於顏色相關詞語的搭配。這裏所講的blue in the face直接翻譯爲“臉上的藍色”，但是實際上是指“因極度氣憤而臉色發紫”，與漢語中的“面紅耳赤”相似。
