A: Don’t you agree that all the thieves should be punished by cutting off their fingers?
你不認爲小偷該砍掉他的手指以示懲罰嗎？
B: I’m afraid many people would turn thumbs down on it.
恐怕很多人會不贊成。
A: Don’t you think in that case, there wouldn’t be so much stealing?
你不認爲如果那樣的話，偷竊現象就會減少嗎？
B: Definitely. But I think it is too fierce.
絕對正確，但是我覺得那臺殘忍了。
