關於雞蛋
sunny side up意爲陽光朝上，是指煎荷包蛋（fried eggs）只見地下一面，朝上的兩個黃澄澄放入蛋黃像是太陽。over意爲翻過來，是指兩面都煎；而over easy意爲輕輕地翻過來，則是指兩面都煎，但別煎的太老。
關於麪包
在美國三明治麪包通常有Italian（意大利白麪包），它是普通的白麪包，口感較軟。Whole wheat (全麥麪包),它則最爲健康，用小麥製成，質地比較粗糙。而潛艇堡的麪包除了以上兩種，另外還有Flatbread（扁麪包）、Honey oat（蜂蜜燕麥麪包）、Italian Herbs&Cheese（意式草本加起司）、Monterey Cheddar（蒙特利切達）、Parmesan Oregano（意大利香奶酪麪包（巴馬乾酪））。
