北京市公安局週一表示，一名女子由美國入境進京，由於其隱瞞相關病史，北京市公安局順義分局以涉嫌妨害傳染病防治罪對其立案偵查。

通報指出，目前，37歲的黎某黎某正在定點醫院（designated hospital）接受治療（receive medical treatment），其丈夫、兒子在接受隔離觀察（being quarantined and are under medical observation）。
3月13日，北京市報告1例從美國輸入的新冠病毒確診病例（imported confirmed case of the novel coronavirus），黎某，女，37歲，長期定居美國馬薩諸塞州。
3月14日、15日，市疾控中心和中國國際航空公司在北京市新冠肺炎疫情防控工作新聞發佈會上通報，黎某在美期間已出現發熱、咳嗽（cough and fever）等症狀（symptoms），並多次在當地就診。
在美國登機時，曾服用退燒藥（anti-fever medicine）。登機後，未如實向乘務人員（flight crew）提供個人健康狀況（health conditions），及丈夫、兒子等同行人員情況，給同機人員造成傳染風險（contagion risk）。
北京市公安局週一表示，當前境外疫情加速擴散蔓延，防範境外疫情輸入（prevent the epidemic from overseas）是防控工作的重中之重（top priority），所有入境進京人員應嚴格遵守相關法律及疫情防控相關規定（strictly abide by laws and regulations against the virus）。
對虛報信息（falsify their health information）、隱瞞病情（hide their diseases）等拒絕執行疫情防控措施的違法犯罪行爲，北京警方將堅決打擊處理、依法追究責任（punish them in line with the law）。
北京市政府週日表示，從3月16日0時起，所有境外進京人員（international arrivals），均應轉送至集中隔離點進行14天的隔離觀察（isolate），隔離人員的費用實施自理自備（the spending for such isolation will be covered by the travelers themselves）。
境外輸入已成爲北京市疫情防控（the efforts to control the epidemic）的主要風險（main risk），境外輸入病例也成爲北京市新增確診病例的主體（the majority of new cases）。
