Beijing, the capital of China, is one of the largest cities in the world. There are many places of interest, such as the Summer Palace, the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. All of them are beautiful and well-known to the world. Great changes have taken place in Beijing since we successfully held the 2008 0lympic Games.

Now, people pay more attention to the environment. More trees and flowers have been planted. For the traffic, it is very convenient for people to travel around Beijing, because several new subway lines have been built. If you come to Beijing, you will find people here are very friendly and helpful. What's more, a lot of people can speak English. Beijing is really an attractive city with a long history.

It is very important for us to know about the traffic rules. Everyone knows that red light means ‘stop’ and you are not allowed to go. You can walk across the road safely when green light is on. One more thing is yellow light. Some people always forget it. Usually when the green light off, yellow light will be on, please be careful because red light will be on in a few seconds. So you must wait for a while patiently.

Here are some useful suggestions for following traffic rules. Firstly, we should follow the traffic lights and cannot break the traffic rules. Secondly, we had better remember the principle “slowly, look left and right side, go across finally”. Last but not least, (最後一條也是最重要的一條)do not forget that it is rather dangerous to play on the street. If everybody follows the traffic rules we will have a happy life in the future.

My hero she is, and she loves me, as all other mothers would their children. I remember the time when I was struck on my bed by severe illness, and she used to pick up the coursework for me, journeying from her workplace to school, from school to home. I feel regret for having said nothing to her; an adolescent sense of rebellion kept me silent. My parents sent me to the hospital but the doctors could do nothing for me. Then my parents heard there was a very good doctor in another town. They took me there at once. I was saved.

我的朋友問我爲什麼。我跟他們說了個故事。當我還是一個小男孩的時候，我的身體非常虛弱。有次，我生了一場很嚴重的病。我發着高燒。我的父母把我送到醫院，但醫生們不能爲我做什麼。那時，我的父母聽聞在其他鎮上，有位名醫。他們馬上把我帶到那兒。(然後)我得救了。

A good doctor can save people's lives. From then on I decided to become a doctor. I know it is not easy to be a I am determined to study hard. I am sure my dream will come true.
