Ragnarok

諸神的黃昏

It will be preceded by Fimbulwinter, the winter of winters. Three such winters will follow each other with no summers in between. Conflicts and feuds will break out, and all morality will disappear. This is the beginning of the end.

諸神黃昏的序幕是芬布爾之冬，傳說中比冬天更爲嚴酷的凜冬。三個漫長嚴冬接連而至，沒有夏天。世界爆發各種衝突和鬥爭，道德淪喪、人性毀滅。這是末日的開始。

After the Fimbulwinter, the enemies of Asgard ['?sga:d] will unite and attack. Gods and Jotun (giants) will battle to mutual annihilation.

芬布爾之冬之後，諸神所居的仙宮阿斯加德遭到敵人的聯合進攻。衆神與巨人將在末日大戰中同歸於盡。

Odin the All-Father will die in combat with Fenrir, a gigantic animal whose two sons will eat the moon and the sun.

衆神之父奧丁在與魔狼芬裏厄的對決中被後者吞噬，這個巨型野獸的兩個兒子會吃掉月亮和太陽。

Thor will kill Jormungandr, the serpent so large it encircles Midgard, but dies from its poison.

雷神索爾將殺死環繞“中庭”的巨蟒耶夢加得，但被後者的毒液毒死。

Heimdall and Loki will kill each other.

守護神海姆達爾和火神洛基同歸於盡。

Freyr — the powerful god of harvest — will fall to Surtr, the flaming, giant lord of Muspelheim, world of fire.

豐饒之神弗雷被火焰之國的火巨人史爾特爾打敗。

Surtr will then fling fire in every direction. The nine worlds will burn, and friends and foes alike will perish. The earth will sink into the sea.

Thor

索爾

Thor was the son of Odin and Fyorgyn, the earth goddess. He is a hammer-wielding god associated with thunder, lightning, storms and strength.

索爾是奧丁和大地之神嬌德的兒子。這個揮舞着錘子的神與雷電、暴雨和力量相關。

He had a red beard and eyes, he was huge in size, he had an insatiable appetite and not much wit. Thor was the strongest of all gods and men.

他長着紅鬍子、紅眼睛，體型巨大，胃口也如無底洞，頭腦簡單，是衆神和凡人中最強壯的存在。

Generally good-natured, Thor had a hot temper, and his anger was dreadful to behold.

索爾平時很隨和，但也是個火爆脾氣，他發起火來是非常可怕的。

He was a fierce enemy of the frost giants. When people heard thunder and saw lightning in the sky, they knew that Thor was fighting these evil giants.

他是霜巨人的死敵。當人們看到天空電閃雷鳴，就知道，這是索爾在和那些邪惡巨人打架呢。

The thunder god's chief weapon was his mighty hammer Mjollnir, which the dwarfs had forged for him.

雷神最重要的武器是那隻具有神力的雷神之錘Mjollnir，這是侏儒工匠爲他鍛造的。

When he threw Mjollnir, it returned magically to his hand like a boomerang.

他扔出雷神之錘後，錘子會神奇地回到他的手中，像回力鏢一樣。

When Thor needs to hover in mid-air, he twirls the hammer around like the rotor of a helicopter, which keeps him suspended above the ground.

Loki

Loki is a shape shifter and in separate incidents he appears in the form of a salmon, a mare, and a fly.

Loki's relation with the gods varies by source; Loki sometimes assists the gods and sometimes behaves in a malicious manner towards them.

She is described as having been appointed by the god Odin as ruler of a realm located in Niflheim. Her appearance is described as half blue and half flesh-coloured and further as having a gloomy, downcast appearance.

海拉被奧丁指派掌管冥界。據描述，她的身體一半藍色、一半肉色，外表陰鬱低沉。

Odin is associated with healing, death, royalty, the gallows, knowledge, battle, sorcery, poetry and frenzy, and is the husband of the goddess Frigg.

奧丁主要與治癒、死亡、王權、絞刑、知識、戰爭、魔法、詩歌、狂暴，他的妻子是北歐神話中的女神弗麗嘉。

He is often accompanied by his animal companions — the wolves Geri and Freki and the ravens Huginn and Muninn, who bring him information from all over Midgard — and rides the flying, eight-legged steed Sleipnir across the sky and into the underworld.

他身邊陪伴着兩隻狼基利和庫力奇，還有兩隻烏鴉福金和霧尼，爲他報告“中庭”的一切消息。他的坐騎是八條腿的戰馬斯雷普尼爾，奧丁會騎着它上天入地。
