我國將把服刑人員納入醫保試點中

China will conduct a pilot program to enroll prisoners in basic medical insurance to protect their legitimate rights, a senior justice official said.

一位司法部門高級官員表示，我國將開展把服刑人員納入基本醫療保險的試點項目，以保障其合法權益。

The two-year test will be conducted in Heilongjiang, Jiangxi, Hainan, Guizhou and Shaanxi provinces and Chongqing before being rolled out nationally, Wang Jinyi, director of the Prison Management Bureau at the Ministry of Justice, said in an interview.

司法部監獄管理局局長王進義在接受採訪時表示，這項爲期兩年的試點將率先在黑龍江、江西、海南、貴州、陝西和重慶開展，之後推向全國。

"We're in discussions with other authorities, including the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and preparing to introduce a regulation to further clarify the details," he said.

他說道：“我們正與財政部、人社部等其他部門討論，準備推出一項規定進一步闡明相關細節。”

Wang said most medical expenses incurred by inmates will be covered by the national medical insurance fund.

王進義表示，服刑人員的大部分醫療費用將由國家醫療保險基金負擔。

"Under the new measure, sectors with different tasks will improve the mechanism and work closely to better protect inmates' health rights and other legitimate rights," he added.

他補充說道：“根據這一新措施，有不同任務的各部門將改善機制，密切合作，以更好地保護服刑人員的健康權利和其他合法權利。”

According to the Justice Ministry, China has 1.7 million convicts serving sentences in 680 prisons, and 320,000 correctional officers.

據司法部透露，中國現在有680個監獄，服刑人員爲170萬，還有32萬名獄警。
