China has included 17 cancer drugs on the medicAl insurance list, the country's state medical insurance administration announced last Wednesday.
國家醫療保障局上週三宣佈，我國已將17種抗癌藥納入醫保報銷目錄。

The price of the 17 drugs dropped 56.7% on average compared to the average retail price. And, they have been priced lower than market prices in neighboring countries and regions, remarkably reducing the economic burden of people battling cancer in China.
與平均零售價相比，這17種藥品售價的平均降幅達56.7%。而且，其價格要低於周邊國家或地區的市場價格，大幅減輕國內癌症患者的經濟負擔。

All of them are clinically necessary, effective, and urgently needed for cancer treatment.
這些藥品均爲臨牀必需、療效確切、需求迫切的腫瘤治療藥品。

This June, China's drug authority launched a new round of negotiations with pharmaceutical companies on the inclusion of cancer drugs for medical insurance.
今年六月，中國藥監局啓動了新一輪與製藥公司的談判，內容是將抗癌藥物納入醫療保險。

44 cancer drugs that were not covered in the list were reviewed during the negotiations, and 17 drugs were finally selected to be added on the list.
在談判中再次審議了此前44種未列入清單的癌症藥物，最後選定了17種藥物，將其列入清單。

The move also reflects the country's support for medical innovation and stronger push for research and development of innovative drugs.
此舉還體現了我國對醫藥創新的支持和對研發創新藥的大力推動。

10 of the 17 newly-included drugs have been publicly available since last year.
新納入醫保報銷目錄的17種藥品中有10種爲2017年後上市的品種。
