some, any

some, any(一些)多充當代詞，也可以充當形容詞修飾可數句詞或者不可數名詞。

(1)some一般用於肯定句。

比如：

Atthe meeting, some agreed with me, and some didn’t.

會上有些人同意我的意見，有些人不同意。

There was no milk in the fridge, so I went out to buy some.

冰箱裏沒有牛奶了，所以我出去買了一些。

Some of the students have gone swimming.

有一些學生去游泳了。

any用於肯定句時，作任何解。

Any of the children here can operate a computer.

這兒任何一個孩子都會操作計算機。

The boy can work out any of the hard problems in the workbook.

這個男孩能解出這這本練習冊中任何一道難題。

(2)用於否定句。

比如：

He wanted some paper, but he couldn’t find any in the desk.

他要一些紙，但他在書桌裏找不到。

There isn’t any coke in the bottle.

瓶裏沒有可樂。

any常用於含有否定意義結構的句子中，若句中有表示否定意義的副詞hardly(幾乎)、never(永不)、介詞without(沒有)等，或者結構too…to…(太……以致不……)。

比如：

She left without telling any of her friends.

她走了，沒有告訴她任何一個朋友。

The problem is too hard for any of them to work out.

這道題太難，他們中沒有人解得出。

He was so busy that he never had any days off.

他太忙，從沒有休假。

(3)any用於疑問句。

比如：

Does any of you know his telephone number?

你們中有誰知道他的電話號碼?

Have you got any news about the missing tourists?

失蹤的遊客有消息嗎?

注意：當一般疑問句轉變成間接引語時，這一用法同樣適用。

比如：

I wonder whether any of them knew Perkings.

我想知道他們中是否有人認識帕金斯。

My uncle said that he could give me some help, and asked if I needed any.

我叔叔說他可以給我幫助，並問我是否需要幫助。

當一個人期望得到一個肯定回答時，疑問句中可以用some。

比如：

These oranges are nice. Won’t you have some?

這些橙子很好吃吧?

They need some more chairs. Aren’t there some here?

他們還需要幾把椅子。這兒不是有幾把嗎?

Did some of you go to the movie last night?

昨天晚上你們中不是有幾個有人去看電影了嗎?
