盤點跟錢有關的口語表達

英文裏表示錢的詞彙包括check（支票）、dime（角）、dollar（元）、penny（分）、cent（分）等。這些詞也是本期盤點將要涉及的主要詞彙。

1. break the bank 太貴，花錢太多，傾家蕩產

John knew that renting the ocean view apartment would break the bank, so he settled for a smaller apartment.
約翰知道租一個海景公寓會花光他所有的錢，所以他選了一個小點的。

2. bring home the bacon 賺錢，養家餬口

I can't sit around all day - someone's got to bring home the bacon.
