1. green-eyed
釋義:Jealous. (妒忌的)
e.g. He's always been a green-eyed monster, every time he sees his wife talking to the opposite sex, he throws a fit.
他的嫉妒心十分重,每次太太和異性談話,他會立即做出失常的行爲。
e.g. I couldn' t help feeling green-eyed when she was promoted over my head.
她獲提升後職位比我高, 我壓抑不住忌妒的心情。
e.g. He was hounded out of his job by green-eyed rivals.
他受到忌妒他的競爭者的算計而被迫離職。
e.g. I don’t think Tom is a real friend of mine because he is very green-eyed for my promotion to the manager.

2. greenhorn

3. green fingers
釋義:Someone who is a skilled gardener;to good at making plants grow. (擅長於園藝技能的人,擅長植物種植)
e.g. I never have green fingers.

e.g. My mom can keep any plant alive, even ones that I've nearly killed—she seriously has green fingers.

e.g. I do envy you your green fingers. Your garden always looks so beautiful.
