【講解】

此語源於織布。從前在英國，布織好了之後，在一種叫tenter的框架上用很多鉤子把它綁緊，以顯得平整。如果人在這種框架上，再把鉤子拉緊，即使不死也很受罪，所以，這條成語比喻“內心焦慮不安”。它出現於1533年。
