此語意爲“不允許某人做某取,或不允許某人 以某種方式做某事”。 也可指“不與……沾 通' 與之相似的would have none用來表不“拒絕考慮和同意某事”。
【對話】
A:Wow, this is an English Club. Let's go in.
A:喔，這有一家英語俱樂部。我們進去看看。
B:Oh, my English is not good.
B:哦，我的英語不好。
