爲什麼選秀節目如此受歡迎？Why Are Talent Shows Popular?

      Over the pastcouple of years, a variety of talent shows have emerged on TV channels acrossthe nation, from Super Girls to Happy Boys and so forth. This type ofentertainment program is intensely popular, especially among young adults andhas produced profound impacts on their studies and life. ­

在過去幾年中，各種各樣的選秀節目出現在全國電視熒幕上，從超級女聲到快樂男生等等。這種娛樂節目十分流行，特別是在年輕人當中，而且已經對他們的學習和生活產生了深遠的影響。

      There are acouple of reasons behind the tide. To start with, young folks need role modelsto learn from. So many of them are crazy for contestants participating in theseprograms. This gives rise to the increasing emergence of these shows because TVnetworks naturally need to cater to young audiences. Plus, thanks to economicand political reforms carried out by the government, this crop of younggeneration have more freedom and desire to express and showcase efore, a growing number of young people desire to get involved in theseshows.

      This is adivisive topic. On my personal level, the talent show is a superb means ofrelaxing and amusing and can hugely relieve our strains. As college students,however, we could not afford to indulge in them and should be aware of theutmost importance of studies.­
