That's the difference
A teenager lost a contact lens while playing basketball in his driveway.
After a fruitless search, he told his Mother the lens was nowhere to be found. Undaunted, she went outside and in a few minutes, returned with the lens in her hand. "How did you manage to find it, Mom?" the teenager asked. "We weren't looking for the same thing," she replied. "You were looking for a small piece of plastic. I was looking for $150."
孩子在車庫打球時掉了一隻隱形眼鏡。
找了一會兒，他告訴母親找不到了。母親出去了，幾分鐘以後，拿着隱形眼鏡回來。“媽媽，你是怎麼找到的?”孩子問。“我們找的不是同一件東西，”母親回答，“你找的是一小片塑料，而我是在找150塊錢。”

We attended the wedding of an acquaintance's son. Because we did not know the young man or his bride, we decided to send them a practical household gift, a fire extinguisher. Apparently, the couple mass-produced their thank-you notes because we received a card saying: Thank you very much for the nice wedding gift. We look forward to using it soon.
我們參加了一個熟人的兒子的婚禮。由於我們都不認識那個年輕人和他的新娘，所以我們決定送給他們一個實用的全家禮——一個滅火器。很明顯，這對新人大批量製作了他們的感謝信，因爲我們收到了一張卡片，上面寫着：“非常感謝您的漂亮的結婚禮物，我們期待着不久就用到它。”
