處理少數民族之間關係的政策Equality,unity and common prosperity are the fundamental objectives of the government in handling the relations between ethnic groups. China exercises a policy of regional autonomy for various ethnic groups,allowing ethnic group solving in compact communities to establish self-government and direct their own affairs.

在中國的大多數城市和鄉村小鎮，有兩個或兩個以上的民族居住。逐步形成了中華人民共和國悠久的歷史，這種情況下共同生活在一處，爲仍然生活在個別小型社區特殊地區不同民族的人民繼續提供了實踐依據，漢族和各少數民族之間的政治，經濟和文化交往，併爲自治民族地區系統的運作發揮作用。
