The boom was on.

Even in the middle of the worst of the mining slump, Australia has found a potential source of strength, again from China: people like Ike Wang.

I think the investment return is the No. 2 concern — it’s about getting money somewhere that is stable and safe, it’s about getting the money out of China, said Paul Blackburne, a developer of numerous Perth apartment complexes.
