朝鮮指責美韓軍演以朝鮮國旗做靶

North Korea has reacted angrily to a joint U.S.-South Korean military exercise that was held Friday, denouncing the use of its national flag as a target.

Around 2,000 South Korean and U.S. troops, along with jet fighters, tanks and attack helicopters took part in Friday's exercise to test responses to any assault. The exercise was timed to mark the 62nd anniversary of the start of the Korean war on June 25, 1950.

For the first time, an oversized North Korean flag was used in the live-fire exercise.

In a statement released Sunday, the North's state Korean Central News Agency called the move an extremely grave military action and politically-motivated provocation. The statement blamed the United States for starting the war and expressed Pyongyang's intention to keep building its military.朝鮮對美國和韓國上星期五舉行的聯合軍事演習做出憤怒的反應，指責這次演習用朝鮮國旗作爲靶子。

大約2千名韓國和美國軍人以及噴氣戰機、坦克、武裝直升機參加了上星期五的演習，這次演習的目的是檢驗對任何攻擊的反應能力。這次演習的時間是爲了紀念1950年6月25號韓戰爆發62週年。

這是首次在實彈演習中將一面巨大的朝鮮國旗作爲靶子。

朝鮮國家媒體朝中社星期天發表聲明說，這一舉動是極其嚴重的軍事行爲和政治挑釁。聲明還指責美國發動韓戰，並表示平壤將繼續擴充軍力。
