The conclusion to Bilbo Baggins' epic cinematic journey was always going to be big, but now it looks even bigger thanks to a name change.

Instead, it is now named 'The Battle of the Five Armies,' referring to the climactic showdown between goblins and dwarves, elves, men, and the majestic giant eagles at the foot of the Lonely Mountain.

Jackson confirmed the name change on his Facebook page in a post earlier today.

''There and Back Again' felt like the right name for the second of a two film telling of the quest to reclaim Erebor, when Bilbo's arrival there, and departure, were both contained within the second film,' the director wrote.
