“Loss of facial fat causes sagging and a gaunt, aged appearance,” says dermatologist Mary P. Lupo, M.D., clinical professor of dermatology at Tulane University in New Orleans. Yo-yo dieting is another no-no. The repeated weight gain and loss stretches your skin and makes it loose.
