我國器官捐獻數量穩增 居亞洲首位

China has seen a steady rise in the number of organ donations since the country began a pilot donation program in 2010, according to the Red Cross Society of China.

據中國紅十字會消息，自2010年我國開啓器官捐獻試點以來，器官捐獻數量穩步上升。

At the end of March, nearly 46,500 organs had been donated in China, and nearly 422,000 Chinese had registered for voluntary organ donations, the Red Cross said.

紅十字會表示，截至3月底，我國公民已捐獻近4.65萬個器官，近42.2萬國人登記自願捐獻器官。

China ranks first in Asia in the annual number of organs donated and transplanted, it said.

紅十字會稱，我國每年捐獻和移植的器官數量在亞洲排名第一。

China has established a mechanism for the fair allocation of donated organs.

我國已建立公平分配捐贈器官的機制。

Huang Jiefu, chairman of the China National Organ Donation and Transplantation Committee, said that last year more than 5,170 people in China donated organs after death, and another 2,350 people donated organs while alive -- mainly to relatives.

中國人體器官捐獻與移植委員會主席黃潔夫稱，去年，我國有超過5170人在死後捐獻器官，另有2350人在活着的時候捐獻器官--主要是捐給親戚。

It is expected that with continued efforts, the number of hospitals certified for transplant surgeries in China will increase.

在不斷的努力下，預計我國具有器官移植手術資質的醫院數量將會增多。

The target is to reach 300 hospitals, up from the current 179, Huang said, adding that this will help promote development of organ donation and transplantation.

黃潔夫表示，醫院的數量的目標是從目前的179家增加到300家，這將有助於促進器官捐獻和移植的發展。
