On和in都是英語中非常常見的介詞，用法廣泛，在時間，方位的表達上都是不可或缺的角色，今天，小編就帶大家一起深入認識下這兩位重要的介詞大腕！

一用法列舉

可以表示“一物在另一物之上且互相接觸”，可以包含一物依賴於另一物，一物以另一物爲載體。例如：

 Put the book on the table。

將書本放到桌子上。

He climbed down on the tree。

他從樹上爬了下來（包含依賴於樹的含義）。

2.表示抽象情況的依賴含義，“依賴某事或某物”。也可以表示工具的使用，可理解爲依賴工具做某事，例如on the radio，on the bus。

I accepted the advice on second thought.

在再三考慮下，我接受了這個建議。

She lives on vegetables.

她依賴素食爲生。

3.用於時間的表達時，on可以用來表示“具體的某一天（某些天）或具體某天的某一時刻”。

二用法列舉

表示“一個物體在另一物體內部”，也可表示“一個物體時另一個物體的組成部分”，表示事或物的包含關係。例如：

Put the ball in the box.

將球放到盒子裏（空間上的包含關係）。

I will finish the task in two hours.

我將在兩小時之內完成任務（表示時間在一定的範圍內，時間上的包含關係）。

同樣可以表示抽象的包含關係，這種用法中In的使用不侷限於空間和時間。例如：

In fact，he doesn't mind.

事實上，他並不介意（表示在事實的範圍內）。

She made a great progress in maths.

她在數學課目上取得了很大進步。

3.用於時間的表達時，in可以表示“年/月/季節/世紀/年代”，也用於morning / evening / afternoon前。例如：
