The Aging of the Population（人口老齡化）是指人口生育率降低和人均壽命延長導致的總人口中因年輕人口數量減少、年長人口數量增加而導致的老年人口比例相應增長的動態。

當一個國家或地區60歲以上老年人口占人口總數的10%，或65歲以上老年人口占人口總數的7%，就意味着人口老齡化了。
