看美劇學地道英語口語：Hit有哪些用法
在紐約上大學的Michael明天將來要考試，可是他的中國同學李華一定要他去參加一個聚會。李華今天學到的兩個常用語是：hit 跟to roll。
L：Michael，你允許跟我一起來加入聚會，我得謝謝你呀! 你曉得嗎，我不太習慣在這種場合跟那些不意識的人聊天。 嗨， Michael，那不是你的朋友Steve嗎?我聽說，只有有party 他必定參加。
M：Yeah, he's the hit of all these parties.
L：他是什麼?Hit? Hit不是打人嗎?
M：No, "hit" here means he is the most popular person at these parties. "Hit" is a word used to describe someone or something that makes a favorable impression.
L：啊呀，英文可真難學。一個詞在這裏是這個意思，在那裏又變了意思。你說的hit是指大家都很喜好的人。那hit用做這個意思的時候能指東西嗎?
