Tommy買了一件新的西裝，非常漂亮，Elvin是怎麼去讚揚的呢？
Tommy bought a new suit, which is very beautiful! How did Elvin give his praise?

Elvin：Tommy, I like your suit!
Tommy, 我很喜歡你的西裝啊！
Tommy：Thanks, Elvin! I got it over the weekend.

Elvin：Gray looks good on you. It must be expensive.

語言剖析

1. I like your suit！
I like your suit！ 你的外套很漂亮！
誇讚別人的衣服好看還可以用This suit looks nice on you！What a great suit！但是I like your suit！更具有語言的藝術性，不僅誇這件西裝很好看，還表達你你也很喜歡這個西裝，得到別人的認可是一件很開心的事情。同樣的當你你新認識了一個老外，很是幽默的時候，就不要總是用you are so humorous ，不痛不癢的話來形容啦！你可以說，You know，I really I like your humor！這樣很容易拉近雙方的距離，在輕鬆愉快的氛圍中繼續話題。

2.文化2：讚美
在美國，讚揚別人當天的穿着很常見。特別是女性更傾向於讚揚別人當天的穿着，但男士也會對女士的穿着加以讚賞，這樣更容易得到她們的注意。讚揚別人的穿着是一件很禮貌的事，但如果背後議論別人或是批評別人卻是非常不禮貌的。

3.I got it over the weekend.
I got it over the weekend. 我是上個週末買的。
over the weekend意思等同於last weekend，上個週末。
在這句話中I got it的意思是，I bought it，有買的意思。如果你到小E老師的線下課堂，有時候小E老師講到一半會停下來問你，Get it？意思是聽懂了嗎？這個時候你可以回覆I got it.我聽懂啦！

4. Gray looks good on you
Gray looks good on you！ 你穿灰色真的很好看！
- How do I look? 我（穿這件衣服）看起來怎麼樣？
- Wow，Elvin！You look great/ pink looks good/nice on you！

'give'，是“贈送”的意義，比如超市大甩賣的時候會有bogo的活動，意思是Buy one give one，買一贈一；It is really cheap and cheerful！真的是物美價廉呀！
