　　炎熱的夏天 The Hot Summer

When July comes, it is the hottest time of the whole summer. Many of my friends have chosen to travel to the cool place, so as to avoid the stuffy air. As for me, I don't like to travel in this hot weather. I just want to stay indoors and enjoy the quiet moment. I like to sit near the window, watching outside scenery. Sometimes I will read some books, enjoy the novel and make myself lost in the fiction world. The things I like to do most is to find a coffee shop and then choose a table that is near the window, so that I can see all the situation. I will bring my computer and then play the computer for the whole afternoon. It is what I like to do in the summer. I enjoy it.

七月到來之際，是整個夏天最熱的時候。我很多朋友都選擇去涼爽的地方旅行，順便躲避悶熱的空氣。對於我來說，我不喜歡在這種炎熱的天氣旅行，我只想呆在家裏，享受安靜的時刻。我喜歡坐在窗戶旁邊，看外面的風景。有時我會看一些書，享受小說的薰陶，沉迷於小說的世界裏。我最喜歡做的事就是找一家咖啡店，然後選擇一張靠近窗戶的桌子，這樣我就可以看到所有的場景。我會帶上我的電腦，然後玩一整個下午。這是我在夏天喜歡做的事。我也非常享受這樣的時刻。

　　My View on Playing Computer Games

As the development of our society, computer has become an necessity of general families. We students also have more chances to play it or use it in our ver, everything has two sides. Many students are addicted to computer games and spend all their time in playing. Some of them even fail in their efore, some people argue that playing computer games in harmful to students and it should be prohibited strictly. From my point of view, spend some time in computer games will not do harm to us. Firstly, it won’t cost us much time, so our study and rest will not be influenced. Secondly, all work and no play make Jack a dull boy. Although we are busy in our study, it doesn’t mean that we can’t play at all. Some games may be good to us to some extent. I think the one thing we should concern is that we should control ourselves properly. That is to say we can’t play games all the day. We must keep in mind that games are just for pastime and our priority is study.

隨着社會的發展，電腦已經成爲了普通家庭的必需品，學生也有了更多使用電腦的機會或者用在學習中。但是，同時它也是一把雙刃劍。許多學生沉迷電腦遊戲，把所有時間都放在電腦遊戲上，有的甚至嚴重影響了自己的學習。於是，有的人說電腦遊戲對學生有害，應該嚴厲禁止。我的觀點是，適當地玩一些遊戲不會對我們學生造成影響。首先，它並不會佔用我們很多時間，我們的學習和休息不會受到影響。其次，只會用功不玩耍，聰明孩子也變傻。雖然我們忙於學習，但那並不意味着我們一點玩樂的時間都沒有。在一定程度上來說，適當地玩些遊戲是有好處的。我們只要控制好自己，控制好遊戲的時間，別把時間都放在遊戲上，記住電腦遊戲只是消遣，學習還是我們的當務之急，那就沒什麼好擔心的了。

　　回到童年 Back to childhood

If I were a boy again, I would practice perseverance more often, and never give up a thing because it was or inconvenient. if we want light, we must conquer darkness. perseverance can sometimes equal genius in its results. “there are only two creatures,” says a proverb, “who can surmount the pyramids—the eagle and the snail.”

假如我又回到了童年,我做事要更有毅力,永不放棄的事,因爲它是或不方便。如果我們要光明,就得征服黑暗。毅力在效果上有時能同天才相比。說,“能登上金字塔的生物,只有兩種——鷹和蝸牛”

if i were a boy again, I would school myself into a habit of attention; i would let nothing come between me and the subject in hand. i would remember that a good skater never tries to skate in two directions at habit of attention becomes part of our life, if we begin early enough. i often hear grown up people say “ i could not fix my attention on the sermon or book, although I wished to do so” , and the reason is, the habit was not formed in youth.

假如我又回到了童年,我要培養自己成爲一種習慣的關注,我將讓我的手。我將優秀的滑冰手從不試圖同時滑向兩個不同的方向。注意力的習慣成爲我們生活的一部分,如果我們及早開始。長大我經常聽到人們說“我不能集中注意聽牧師講道或讀書,儘管我希望這樣做”,原因是,不是青年形成的習慣。

if I were to live my life over again, I would pay more attention to the cultivation of the memory. I would strengthen that faculty by every possible means, and on every possible occasion. it takes a little hard work at first to remember things accurately; but memory soon helps itself, and gives very little trouble. it only needs early cultivation to become a power.

如果我是生活,我會更加註意記憶力的培養。我將加強,教師通過每一個可能的方式,並在每一個可能的場合。需要一點努力工作要正確無誤地記住一些東西起初;但記憶很快幫助自己,給很少的麻煩。只需及早培養,記憶自會成爲一種才能。
